Bridge the Gap

The Web as we know it today is far beyond what it was originally. Many cant imaging their world without the use of computers, GPS's, or Google but don't really understand that not long ago this magical internet world was just a dream. It was only 25 years ago, in 1991 when a networking protocol for distributed, collaboration, hypermedia information systems was created and released to the world. Thing have definitely changed since then with the release of Netscape in 1994 and Internet explorer in 1995. Internet Explorer (IE) is a World Wide Web browser that comes bundled with Microsoft windows operation. "As of August 2016, Internet Explorer was the second-most widely used web browser on desktop operating systems, with 29.6% of the market, compared to 50.9% for the Google Chrome Browser, according to NetMarketShare." (Techtarget.com). Google Chrome a very popular search engine was just released in December of 2008. Many changes have come since then with the application of all web browsers adapted for use on Apple phones and Android cell phones. Its interesting to see how far it has all come but more interesting to think about how much farther it will all go!
